Nisbet Park

Day of

3 Days Later

Nisbet Park is a park right off of Loveland's famous bike trail. During our research we discovered that Loveland used to be famous for its trains, but now it is better known for its large biking community. The history hints at the popularity of one form of transportation overtaking another; we decided to attempt to depict this in our art.

After 3 days, it had rained. It seemed that several people had come and used the chalk to draw around our piece, however one person in particular had used the wet chalk to create bright streaks of hot pink across the faded blue of the train. Leaves had fallen all over the drawing, leaving only hints of the image that used to stand there.
