Brookville Reservoir: Overlook Park
The Brookville Reservoir is a man-made lake nestled in Eastern Indiana. Spanning over 5000 acres the vast expanse of water is held in place by a dam constructed in 1974.

Since drawing on the shore of the water was out of the question, we trekked out to the overlook for our installation. Wanting the piece to reflect the containment of nature and the beauty of the landscape, we decided to frame our image in a geometric shape reminiscent of the reservoir itself.

4 Days Later
The day after completing our drawing we received an email from the Army Corps, who manage the Brookville Reservoir, asking us to refrain from making artwork there in the future. Upon our return 4 days later we noticed that the following sign had been posted.
